Mathieu was extremely touched by all the love he felt from each and every one of you who reached out to us. We were blessed by the presence of such a beautiful soul and wish Mathieu peace and eternal joy.

Dear Friends of Mat,
Much to our sorrow, the drug failed to fight the cancer that has been ravaging Mat's body for nearly two years. Thank you for your kind and generous donations, but as there will be no further treatments, we have no need for additional fundraising. We feel it's time to focus on Mat and sharing our love with him in his last days.
The remainder of the funds collected until now will cover the cost of Mat's funeral, with the rest donated to the hospital unit where he has spent his last weeks. It will purchase additional televisions and other amenities that will make the patients' and visitors' stay on this unit more comfortable.
Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.
You will be in our hearts forever!! You fought long and hard and now you derserve to rest in peace and live a new life in a better place pain free. You can eat all the cookies you want and drink all you want. I love you Mat. We all love you!!! You will be missed!
